Lagg + very high ping - mickos - 12.07.2012
Hey everyone,
I got a BIG problem...
It's my internet or anything, when I join a server my ping is 100+ or sometimes 400+ and sometimes 900+
But first was my ping 40+ and now very high!
I dont know how it is possible, I never got this problem but only now..
And in my server, (its not hosted because its not finished) got I 100+ , 400+ ping and sometimes 900+
And first I got there 40+ ping to but now 100+ , 400+ ping and sometimes 900+
Anyone that can help me with this?
Its very anoying, my GTA got lagg as hell..

This might be because your running some programs or kept something for download while using sa-mp.

Have you a good Internet or a bad Internet connection?

One of the best ways to fix this is to change the channel in which your connection uses. Say if you had some new neighbours moving in or they've upgraded their connection so that it downloads speeds are much faster, and then they would want to be downloading more. If your on the same channel as them this would cause a major slowdown in network speeds, I know this from first hand experience, the speeds at first were 1MB/s but after I changed the channel I'm getting 74MB/s as you can see in my signature.
To do this you must type into the address bar your local address, you'll then be greeted with a login page to which the login details will be on your router most likely underneath it, after you've logged in there will be a few settings. Just search until you find wireless channel, click it and change the number to something like 13, save the changes and let the router reboot. After these steps have been completed you should find the speeds are back to what they originally were.
