Trying to run an old gamemode - Printable Version

Trying to run an old gamemode - sanderth - 05.07.2012

Hey there everybody,

I'm not that much of a scripter, I can't do much, there's alot for me to learn. Only things I can do is like adding houses, teleports and such. So don't expect much from me.

Now I've got an old roleplaying script here, I don't know how I got it anymore, but it isn't working on 0.3(e).
I did some searches, and I came nowhere, things I tried were compiling it with all 0.3e includes and such and updating some.. Well I don't what those are actually called, those things with OnPlayer and such. (Just what I said, I'm not much of a scripter.. More like an uber-uber-ubernoob...)

Now the real problem: I start the server, configured everything (Yes, that's something I actually CAN do

) and the server just dissappears without a trace, it also doesn't run on the background or anything. Just a crash.

Now I'm hoping if somebody can help me, I'd be really thankfull, because I love this script and can't find any other scripts that are much like it.

Okay to run a old game mode u need do 2 things

First Update you gamemode to 0.3e
And Second fix thinks in server.cfg

Gime reportation if i helped u and do you know to update i i know

I think that's just where I'm going wrong, I know I have to update it, but I have no idea which version this gamemode is made for. If I would only be able to get to know that somehow:/

Also I just don't know what I all have to update

can u post this texts goto your server file there u will find
server_log.post what all written there
