Changing mode - SA:MP MAN - 28.06.2012

Well i have downloaded a server but my problem is i can not change the gamemode, every time i do the server will not start. So how may i change the gamemode? Another thing is the when i am In Game it still says the name of the server i have downloaded and not the name that i want so how may i fix that.

Open server.cfg with notepad.
Now change your gamemode.
Example:
gamemode ygtdm
Now change the hostname
Example:
hostname xtreme generation
Like this you can change your RCON password,port etc.

post your SERVER_LOG .... if so open GAME MODE there might me modename.pwn & modename.amx .... just put the MODENAME ok server.cfg
