[HELP]Need help with editing linux server please! - jokajoey78 - 18.06.2012

I have a server and all the files are on the server host in the file manager...and its a linux server, i have windows and since its linux i cant use pawno to edit it. how do i edit the server config ? please help..

Edit it on your computer and upload the edited server.cfg via FTP or via file manager.

ugh. im still not sure what to edit it has no pawno file.. do i take all the files? and download to my computer?

Jesus. Plus, the way that file manager looks, you should be able to just click on "Server.cfg" and then click edit file when it appears. Then you should be able to save it.

It dosent do anything...i mean how do i actually edit the server config without pawno if its a linux server...



I need to edit the text that it says ingame and stuff...

Click the box to the left of Server.cfg, then near the bottom of the window, there will be a Open or Edit box. Click it, edit, save, done!

You just need a text editor like notepad to edit server.cfg. Download it to your computer, edit it via notepad, upload it back via FTP or via file manager !

Well its just very simple to do there is the third option in your host know as "Configuration Editor" if you go in to it it looks same like server.cfg edit that accordingly save it and your server.cfg will be updated automatically.
In this it looks like this.
