VPS - Sanady - 11.06.2012
Hello everybody.I have my old Computer.
CPU:2.1
Grafic Card:ATI Radeon (512MB)
Memory:2GB
And can I use that PC for VPS I mean if it`s possible.(my location:Near Capital city of Serbia,Belgrade).

It's not a good spec computer, and I highly doubt your internet speed are capable of running a decent server with over 10 players. Keep your old computer as your old computer, it has no use anymore apart from the skip.

For SAMP I would say your internet connection is more importand than the CPU (let alone the GPU) RAM and CPU is the least of your concern, you need a good upload speed to support a decent server.

The computer will be ok for a quite big samp server, and things like a webserver etc. The important thing indeed is the internet connection. Below several hundred kbyte/s upload speed it will be quite pointless, also ping will be quite high on home connections. Also, if you got a dynamic ip, getting a static one is a must, at least with something like no-ip.com, or the whole action will be useless.
Also, its not a vps, but simply a server. VPS means virtual private server, and this private server surely isnt virtual.

You could run an OpenVZ kernel on that without a problem. IIRC OpenVZ min requirements are around 0.5Gb and 1.6Ghz.
Make sure your internet can handle it though, most home connections wont last and usually don't allow hosting services, it may just be smarter to get a host depending on how much you pay to run the computer.

A VPS dosent need a Grafic Card:ATI Radeon (512MB) and you need good upload speed

Why people want start a SaMp server with their own computer?
Nowdays the hosts are extremely cheap,then why dont use them?
