Can I run GTA San Andreas? - lilmar - 29.05.2012

Hello, I am planning on buying a new computer because the one I have lags and isnt good. So I already have one im planning on buying but I just want to make sure it will work because I have already been through like 3 or 4 computers and they never work good. Here is the specs:
Intel Celeron Processor 2.2GHz
2GB DDR2 RAM
250GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
15.6-Inch Screen, GMA
Windows 7 Home Premium
Brand name: HP
Series: Presario
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium
Prossesor Brand: Intel
Prossesor Type: Intel Celeron
RAM Size: 2 GB
Graphics Coprocessor: GMA
And here is the direct link of the computer im buying: http://www.amazon.com/Compaq-Presari.../dp/B0040JHMZI
So, can it run it? If not, do you know any cheap computer that can run it? I am looking for a laptop and it have to be maybe $300 at the most. If you have a computer you suggest me buying though I would like to get 25-45 FPS and no lag when I record videos with Fraps! Thanks! But hopefully that can run it! But anyway, thanks alot!!!

Maybe a little lagg when you set everything to max, but it should run fine at medium settings.

Win7 on 2 gigs, good luck. You will be able to play, but the biggest problem is processor.

I'm surprised they're even offering Windows 7 with that PC...

Okay thanks everyone! I am ordering it Thursday! Does anyone know about how much FPS I will get with this computer? Also if I record because I make ******* videos so will it lag alot if I record with fraps? Thanks again!

Let's say 30-40 on 800x600x32 medium settings. I had a PC worse than that and I had this FPS.

Good luck

I have a very similar laptop; it will come down to 10-18 FPS while recording on 1360x768 but if playing normally without recording then it'll vary from 20-35.

Highest you'd get would be 35-40 on that resolution but anything lower would somewhat increase your fps.
