SA-MP App is a free Android 2.1+ application to query San Andreas Multiplayer Servers and send RCON commands to them.

I know two query apps for Android :

For the first app, it requires Adobe AIR, simply displays the infos (no rules nor players) and there is no download link. The second one displays the infos and server rules but the link was removed. And I don't find any SA-MP related app (except one for a RP Server) on the ****** Play Store.

My app will display the server infos, rules and players. You will be able to send RCON commands and the servers you add are stored in a SQLite database so you don't have to type the IPs all the time. And it will be released on the ****** Play Store for free. Maybe I will publish the source under GPLv3.

So yes, other apps exist but you can't find them and mine is different

Java is the most used language for mobile phones, it seems ugly or whatever, but it have alot of things we can do with it.
If you think that java sucks about minecraft ram usage and/or cpu usage, there the problem is from minecraft scripters, since they're not putting limits on the resources usage.

It's not the developers problem, it's because the java is executed by a virtual machine and it's making slow the code execution.

Yes, it's normal because nothing is more portable than the java.

And yes we can do a lot of things, now try to create a mod like SA:MP with Java, we will laugh, you can't handle the memory and it's my domain, so that's why for me the java is bullshit.

The first version of the app is finished. It will be tested this weekend and then published on the ****** Play Store. It is Android 2.1+ compatible and the available features for the moment are :

• Infos query.
• Rules query.
• Players query (just player name).
• Multiple servers management.

Detailed player infos and rcon console will come in a later version.
