Server Responsible for Client lag - Killa[DGZ] - 10.05.2012

Hey Guys, I'm having this issue with my server at the moment which only seems to be effecting me for the time being, i asked a few players an they said that it was fine for them, but its definitely not fine for me and seems to be something to do with the direction i am facing, for example..

if i stand in this spot an look in this direction its fine as you can clearly see,

but if i look in this direction,

or in this direction,

1 FPS on a Dual Core 3.2Ghz with HT, 2Gb ram, 1Gb Nvidia GT240, 530W PSU, running Xp Pro... Like seriously WTF?

I have tried removing all my streamed an non streamed objects and its definitely not that, i did go to a few other servers to check out this area and it was perfectly fine, so that alone tells me that its something on my server causing this, ideas anyone?

Did you contact your host about your issue? see what they have to say?

Re: Server Responsible for Client lag - Killa[DGZ] - 10.05.2012

What do you mean is it properly hosted?, its a dedicated server mate..lolz

i have since found that removing my 615 "RemoveBuildingForPlayer" lines fixes the problem, so i guess its something that i have removed.

Re: Server Responsible for Client lag - Rafiko - 11.05.2012

or its mod related, like modded tree or house...use the default gta3.img and the normal effects.

if not, try to decrease your Draw Distance and AA on your GTA Options -> Display.

good luck.

I can clearly see that you are in Blueberry, which is near to the following coordinates:
Код:
X - 0
Y - 0
Z - 0
Some servers have their uncreated pickups, houses, properties, etc. set to X0, Y0, and Z0 which can result to an instant lag once you get close to that area. This occurs in almost all servers, including mine.

Re: Server Responsible for Client lag - Killa[DGZ] - 11.05.2012

might be onto something here, if i remove this dud tree that is apparently growing out of a rock in the middle of the water,

using this line,

pawn Код:
RemoveBuildingForPlayer(playerid, 3509, 2100.3516, 1929.4609, 11.8984, 0.05);
it removes it fine, but check my fps

and if i put the tree back,

removing all trees of this type just makes it worse.
