Still doesnt work, just runs gta_sa.exe

You using Pawno? Try setting up Notepad++.

You've set the compiler file to the gta_sa executable, genius.

Try to re-install,check maybe its still running on the Procceses list,try to restart the computer.

In pawno:
On the menu bar "Click Build"
From the menu select "Run Options"

Your options should be set to:
Copy Script to directory "\" (without quotes).
Execute this File "pawncc.exe" (without quotes)
With these Parameters "-r" (without quotes)

I also had this problem once.
I think I fixed it by renaming the samp.exe to like samp_client.exe, somehow pawno tries tu run samp.exe when compiling. If this still doesnt work, rename your san andreas folder.
