It's just now that I've noticed, having a command for game-mode or server restarts in-game won't work on Linux servers. I'm currently using Windows and tried renting out a host that uses Win2008 and they work perfectly. But when I've tried the command on Linux servers (such as ServerFFS and Volt Host), they don't work.

Anyone else experienced this?

yes you need a Control pannel setup to do that.

Do you mean /rcon gmx ? and with Control pannel you can re/start/stop server .Does your host dose not have a control pannel?

Do you even care to read the thread first before posting a reply ? He's having a problem with gmx command over a linux distro and he's doesnt need a cp for that, posthunter !

EDIT: How stupid of me. Of course, the version of the MySQL plugin that I'm using wasn't compatible with the hosting's operating system (which is Debian - ServerFFS), problem fixed.
