get my Server Controm Panel App then just put it in your server folder and then after just press Quick Connect and it will tell you if it is online !
Also if is not you can debug it only with V1.7 so u can see if u got plugins missing, or something wrong in "server.cfg"

Woops, looks like i've fudged the DNS settings.
http://check.cake.io should be back up in a few minutes, thrown it back onto a server in Los Angeles.
