SAMP 0.3d with Wine on Mac - rewot - 23.03.2012
Hello SA-MP community,
I just wanted to ask whether it is possible to play SAMP on a Mac with the help of the program Wine. I can easily play GTA SA in singleplayer mode and I can open the server browser of SAMP, but as soon as I klick on a server to join it, it crashes after the 1st screen.
Do you have any advise on where to put the GTA SA folder so it loads the game properly? It's v1.0. no mods whatsoever and I'm also using an ASI loader, but it still won't start.

Fixed the problem. All you have to do is install the SA-MP client with Wine into your GTA SA folder.
Therefore it is proved that it's possible to run SA-MP with a Windows installation of GTA SA on a Mac without Bootcamp.

It took me a while of messing around with packages from winetricks but yeah, it's possible and runs surprisingly fast. Have fun!
