[HELP]Domain to VPS - Kazuo - 22.03.2012

I've put my domain on my VPS, and it's been successful and have work .. and after I go to connect to my game, but where the name server is not the same? See

Ping: 0

and

but server (Retrieving info...) it's running, and it connects to the server? how to change name (Retrieving info...) to Tes Server ?

so you are saying you want like a name instead of ip? nameofserver.domain.us?

I hardly understood anything, but in case if you want your domain.com:7777 to be your SA-MP IP Address, simply make a A Record in your domain panel and point it to your actual numeric IP Address.

Hey Kazuo,

Well, it looks like you don't own domain-games.com, but here's a generic explaination

Your domain name is controlled by name servers, that points the user from a readable name, to the server's IP.
Your situation is that, well, you haven't configured your name servers to point to your VPS.

Hypothetically speaking, it should look a bit like

cake.io.                    3600    IN      A       146.185.21.161
www.cake.io.            3600    IN      A       146.185.21.161
samp.cake.io.            3600    IN      A       146.185.21.161
(inb4cnames, they cause extra look-up times, I tend not to use them.)

The 'A' record points to your VPS's IP address.
Once it's propagated, it should work fine and dandy.

hey man setup at your VPS Non-IP and then you will have a domain PM i will show you how with Teamviewer
it's easy i use that .

You need to setup a A record for your domain to your server IP address.
