Hi all, been trying to SA-MP working for a while now i cant get it to work its 1.00 US version, im on windows 7, singleplayer works fine and i can see servers but when i try to join it loads and cant connect... opened a port and firewall's letting it through... any ideas?

I've had this problem before too. Try re-installing SAMP, and if that doesn't work try re-installing GTA. That solved it for me.

Check if you'r SA-MP client is upto date. + If you'r SA-MP server is updated.

re-installing it now, client up to date but how do i update SA-MP server? or is that only if im making a server?

re-installed both and still not working dying to try SA-MP... VC-MP was awesome

Is it working for other servers ? Just in case download and run this where your GTA SA is to make sure 100% its v1.00...

The Steam and Houndsomething patch don't work with SA:MP.

Also, check to make sure that you downloaded the 0.3d CLIENT and the server you want to join in 0.3d or 0.3d R2
