PutPlayerInVehicle - iTorran - 05.03.2012

Not sure why but in 0.3d this stopped working for invalid seats..
Although it was very useful for some servers, and i can name a few that are now struggling for a replacement since 0.3d..
It would be nice to see it let you use invalid seats again..
Unless there is some bad reason it was removed other than the crashes that most servers had a work-a-round for

Yes, invalid seat IDs could crash the game. It's possible some exceptions could be added for certain vehicle model IDs. If you want to request an exception for the seat ID check, just post the vehicle model ID.

Well uhm, would it be possible for all aircraft?
This is very useful on RP servers for co-pilot and stuff like that..
(Or perhaps a seperate function or parameter for invalid seats)

I'd like just ALL vehicles to be able to have invalid seat ids. There are a lot of players who use mods that make their vehicle 4 seated instead of 2, or 2 seated instead of 1. For my part it'd really like to have at least the possibility to have 4 seats in the police ranger (id 599).

Boats & Planes are main priority in this case for those air vehicles that only allow 1 or even 2 inside.

I support this idea... i miss the functionality of this in planes as well!

Let's say that planes and busses are the main priority, these are the vehicles that are mostly used for these situations.

I support this idea... but why not apply this to every vehicle model id ?

Cargobob please also would it be possible that when a player is put in an invalid seat that the name tag still shows above the vehicle? IIRC when it was possible to put players in invalid seats they're name tag never showed (as if they wern't even there)
