Open sponsorship applications? - 101 - 26.02.2012
My question is simple,
I have a few machines that I do not really use yet I do pay for them (money is not a issue), and due to that reason I have been wondering, should I open sponsorship applications for servers? The team/group/person wanting sponsorship would have to make a detail application, proove me that this isn't just an other server that will be closed in a week, etc.

The only thing is unless you are a company, with a a creditable Terms of Service, then they will think you will steal their script. People who make custom made scripts will probably either have money, or go with a hosting company.
Worth a try but you will probably get just people with "Non Unique" Scripts.

Yes, I do believe that aswell, but considering the only needed thing to run the gameserver is actually the compiled .amx it is not a problem. Sure there are deamx-er programs out there but they wont decode everything. And the truth is, any host can actually take your script. If they really want to.

True, But I mean go ahead, I think if you get actual servers with active players, and decent script then you will be doing great service to the SAMP Community! My Support
