Read here the problem-topics of people and learn from their mistakes, especially look for the things which get corrected! Also, we got tons of good tutorials out there!

Learning by doing is always the best way to learn new scripting languages. Set up a small projects so that you won't fail and use the SA:MP wiki, SA:MP forum and some ******* videos to realise the project. Make sure that everything starts by reading documentation.
