Server versions. -
Shetch - 18.02.2012
I jsut had a quick question, it's not really about scripting or anything.
It's about server versions. Like for example, some servers have a thing like (v0.2) or something at the end.
How does that propperly work?
If i create a new server, what kind of "v" do i put there?
Like (v0.1) or (v0.01)

It's what creators manage their script with.
I, for example use revisions. Each revision I make is made full of updates, when I add around 15 things, edits, modifcations or removals - I make a revision (r1, r2, r3, r4, r5) etc. And I have a changelog on my forum which tells everyone what has been tampered/added/removed.
Hope you understand.

For Large updates in beta I would use, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3. After getting to 1.0 you should be out of beta, then for small changes like a small bug fixed it would be like 1.0.1, then large update: 1.1, and so on!
Also Zak's R1 R2 is a nice system too!
