MySQL on Dedicated server - Ricop522 - 14.02.2012

Anyone knows if this description is good ?



Intel Atom D510 1.66 Ghx X 4
4 GB DDR2 RAM
500 GB SATA2
100Mbps port @ 10,000GB per month
5 Usable IP addresses (/29 allocation)


I have a BIG database , with more and less 10 tables, and 100 players to save they account.

Anyone knows if this support my server and the CPU will not go high?

i have a core2duo 2.2ghz, with 4gb ram, 1tb hdd and a 100mbps network, and one of the databases is quite loaded, it has around 15 tables with more than 250 rows in a few of those tables. i have not experienced any problems (so far).

The server is good, but can you tell me how much it would cost you epr month? I'd probably have more suggestions for other companies that are a tad cheaper but have better machines

You don't need the Quad Core being 1.66 GHz, the SA-MP server only uses 1 core of CPU. I would rather try to grab a duel core with 2.0GHz or more. Anyways this these details will be perfectly fine and I would suggest if you have 2 hard disks at 500GB that you try to get RAID1.
