Hello guys.


I am planning to work on a project for samp. It's a secret right now and it doesn't matter, really. I was wondering, would it be appropriate to use .com domain or .org. Both are available for the name I am using.

i know that .org is for non profit organizations and my project will sort of be non-profit (XD).

or

.com ?

just curious.

Saurik did you not learn your lesson with your last server?

And using .org is honor-system based. There is no ICANN/IANA rule that requires the site be used strictly for non-profit business.

Hey man.. My server did pretty well but then it dies after i change hosts and change ips =/ died twice like that.



I'll prly go with .com. But I'm still thinking... hmm...

I get domains for free . Anyway, go with .com or something. Most people get .com

If you're an organization like Greenpeace, use .org. But, I doubt that, so I'd suggest you to use .com.

I don't think it really matters. '.com' is easier to remember.

Maybe you should re-read what nemesis wrote. He said there is NOT a rule that says you have to use a .org site for a non-profit organisation.
