have a look @ www.ipchicken.com ,retrieve your public IP, then test that ip out. if will NOT work if you are hosting it on your local PC, aso ask a friend if he can join.

Do as Babul (Hey Babs :P) said then paste your IP with your port here and I will join your server if i'm able to Or use a server monitor to check if you server is online. WARNING: Some monitors update every 10mins

How about we solve your problem?

Are you using a router?
If yes:
Have your portforarded it?
Are you on a DMZ list?

If No
Does your ISP support this?
