Hey, I've just made a pretty basic logo for my community, and would like your criticism and comments.
Here is the "signature version":


And here is the version at the top of my forum:


Could you point out possible improvements for both, please?

More fx (assuming Photoshop) on both texts will fix it.

Vince, what effects would you suggest? I currently put a stroke effect on the "roleplay" text, before merging the two together and applying a shadow (so that there wouldn't be a shadow on the "Far Out" text)

More colors! You could also add something San Andreas related, such as background scenery, characters or cars.

Bevel and Emboss, maybe Outer Glow too.

the shadow of "ROLEPLAY" could have applied some more transparency imo
