A good VPS - Battleman - 22.01.2012

Hello all,

I'd like to buy a VPS for my SA-MP server at www.versio.nl, but I don't know whichs package is good for a SA-MP RPG server with 40 slots. Package of 1 (Ђ4,99), 2 (Ђ8,99) or 3 (Ђ14,99)?

Can I have some advice?

well, it depends on your requirments.like Ram usage. i suggest buying a VPS which has 256- 512 RAM.

to host sa-mp servers... these requirements are enough:
Ram : 512 mb
diskspace 4gb
bandwidth unlimited
OS : Linux and Windows (Linux recommended)
Location : anywhere that is closer to you for better ping... not so important

to run 1 server 256-512. and will cost you 2.5 $ for 256 and 4 $ for 512

U mad bro, 4gb to run a as-mp server more likeness than 1gb depending on how big the files are it shouldn't go over 1gb nvm 4gb and you should have aleaste 500gb of bandwith with id running 50 slots

Mane sure you look at a lot of hosts first before you choose which one you'll be purchasing!

but i think that when players connect... they use a little harddisk too...

for registering obviously, but, I doubt a server would expect 40 players just an hour after the server opens (unless they planned this with a massive community ready to play, I doubt it though) even if it does, it wont get past 1gb. believe me, I do have a VPS with a massive script on it, i only used 500 mb for the the server files and most of the registered users files were about small like the kb typed files
