[Question] - SpankMe2 - 15.01.2012

Okay so this might be the wrong section but it will take seconds to answer.

How long does it take for a average spped scripter to script a full RP Gamemode from scratch?.

Please dont give answers like: You should start with a simpler mode as im not a newbie :S.

Thanks.

This might help to...

Mon To Fri - 6 hours coding time

Sat - Sun 12 hours

If I code non stop

You'll fall ill coding that much, but i'd say 1.5 weeks including all testing and bug fixing? (54 hours a week (If my maths is right) is a hell of a lot of coding time.)

Just some advices. Scripting never ends. No matter if you are a pro scripter, if you scripted a gamemode for one year, you still can have new ideas and new projects about that gamemode.

So, to complete the basic things for a roleplay gamemode, if you script everyday/every weekend, you can make it in few months maybe. All depends on you and your skills.

And if you want to script yourself, make yourself a favor. Create a list with things you want to script. Do not script a new thing unless you finish the one you were trying to.
