******** Problem -
Trucido - 02.01.2012
okay, I heard about this game called Alliance of Valiant Arms (A.V.A) and for some reason you had to make a ******** to have an account on it. I made the account and it was working fine, for about a week or so. Out of nowhere, they ask me for my mobile phone number (security check..) on ********. I refuse to give out any personal information like this.. Many people are having this problem and not even because they needed it for the game.
So.. I was wondering if anyone here had this problem and somehow had a way to bypass it.
Thanks, any help appreciated!

Just like paypals random security checks? (Insert money into your paypal after 3 months and then get entered into a random security check for tons of personal info)

Haha, how am I supposed to ignore them? You must've misunderstood what I was saying, this problem, CANNOT be ignored or avoided. Unfortunately, its there to stay and you can't just exit it..

You don't need to have FB to make an account on AVA.

I personally always "accept" most of the things as they aren't interested in my personal data. They won't send any advertising because I live in a country where they don't sell their stuff, so meh. I only don't accept them to post on my wall because that can get very spammy...
I found a little by-pass though, which works on
some games: allow them to do anything they ask, and you'll be able to delete most of the stuff in app settings. Most of the time, the only thing they have to be allowed to, is to get
some of your personal information, eg name, birthday

You can't accept those?
Really?!
These are to secure YOUR money and to avoid bots and stuff!
Of course it might be annoying but be happy that they care about it...

The concept behind ******** is to sell personalized advertisement by analyzing your profile and every single bit you upload. So whatever requires ******** also focuses on your data, youll have to accept that, or dont use it.

I didn't want to use it in the first place, and I'm not the only one who wants to give them personal information, in fact, there are some people trying to bypass this stupid security check. But I had though that one of you had this problem and somehow figured it out. Thanks anyways.
