Ok.. so i just came up with an awsome idea;

What if it would be possible to play San Andreas Multiplayer, but this time its not San Andreas but you play in a total new world (Total Conversion Mod).

How FUCKING awsome would that be?? (sorry for cursing but omg), i get so unbelievably excited by only thinking of it!! You will have all scripting options avaible, but this time in a total NEW world!!

I wanted to suggest that sometimes too but it would be hard to see if it is a TC or a mod that is used for hacking (new bridges, handling edit,...)

btw. I think sa-mp is using a d3d9.dll, right? Then GTA:United is impossible (uses a required d3d9.dll)

I think this is a cool idea ofcourse you would have to download it whenever you wanted to play though.

No idea what is required.. thing i know is that at a certain point you could set "myriad 1" in your server.cfg and probarly play Myriad Islands multiplayer, but it never got released.

True that.. maby some warning could been given before you enter the server like:

"This server runs the total conversion mod <mod name here>, you can download it at <site>"

Whatever

Im already thinking about a new gamemode called Liberty City The Next Episode, damn me im so excited about this

No. SA:MP 0.2.x even prevents such files to load.

When player connects a server, check if server has the miryad islands variable set to "1".
If it is, then write something in the .dll/.saa file.

Dunno, it's not possible I guess.

(not likely though)

I've suggested something similar in the topic where kye asked for suggestions for the sa-mp future which got deleted. I included this suggestion then.

It would be cool but time-consuming. Hmm I figure that if you do want to use a map it should be made by sa-mp dev team themselves having 100% controll over it. But then again very time-consuming.

About 3 or 4 total conversion mods would be enough, Gta San Vice which is incredible it is everything you can do in San Andreas but on the Vice City map, Gostown Paradise and that GTA3 conversion.

Or if the SA-MP team are good enough they could try and make their own custom mod that is better than these ones with big skyscrapers and shit like in GTA IV.

No i do know, some of them can be 300 mb and more. Yeah it would take a long time, but there could be a jumping egg that amuses you while you wait
