Dynamic Signatures? - Nodroz - 03.12.2011

Hello guys,

I've made a dynamic signature for a server. I was wondered if people are interested in a dynamic signature which can be used in any forum in their signature.

The signature will connect with a MySQL database so it'll be up-to-date.

So, are you interested in such a signature for your server, please let me know in a reply. I'm not going to write a tutorial if people don't need it. If there is enough interest, I'll make a TUTorial.

Regards,
Nodroz

Here are some examples I made.
Not for advertising, just as example.

There is a tutorial somewhere on these forums telling you how to do it

Re: Dynamic Signatures? - iNorton - 03.12.2011

Would be very useful for my War RP showing ranks etc etc.

Apparently you didn't read the board this thread is in: Everything and Nothing

I think that PHP would fall under the category of "everything."

Re: Dynamic Signatures? - RyDeR` - 03.12.2011

It's not hard, just use MySQL functions in PHP to get the data and use GD library to generate those pictures.

Re: Dynamic Signatures? - Saurik - 03.12.2011

Not hard, i use it for my signatures. Takes like 20 lines to retrieve the data and echo it on the sig.

True, but not many people know how. I thought it would be good to show them how to do it.

However, I'll cancel this tutorial as I can see iTorran posted a link to such a tutorial.
UPDATE: After reading that tuturial provided by iTorran, I've seen that one doesn't connect to a mysql database. Shall I make a tutorial with mysql database then?

Regards,
Nodroz

Re: Dynamic Signatures? - i_Ryan - 03.12.2011
