VPS as you can also get your website working on the same machine..

Edit: And also sometimes VPS's are a little better than some SA:MP Hosting Companies...

'Hosting Company' is a wrong term i believe. You can also buy a VPS at a hosting company, but i guess you mean a server with a control panel and that kind of stuff.

A 'hosting company' server is very simple and easy to setup. A VPS offers more options but it's hard to configure if you don't know what you're doing. So yeah, it depends on yourself and your plans.
