A question - Blessed - 22.11.2011

How long did it take for whoever made SA:MP to actually make and develop SA:MP? I know it's a weird question, but I'm really curious on how long it took them. Please answer back.

Kalcor a.k.a Kye started SAMP project even before the GTA SA came out.The real work on project started when GTA SA came out(obviously),and since then,he didn`t stop developing SAMP(from 2005 to present day).

Well, it says Kye started the project in March 2005 and is still being developed (0.3d, for example): http://www.gtapt.net/forum/index.php?topic=5747.0

And before that I think he was helping with VC-MP. May have used some code from it too? I dunno.

True.
I believe VC-MP was the base of SA-MP, because SA wasn't available yet at the time Kalcor started.
This is what I thought, might be false though.
