Snow FS (For Incognito's streamer + ZCMD) - Kwarde - 13.11.2011
Hello.
I've made this in the first place for someone who needed help, but I also decided to just release it.
It's very simple but it looks nice. Here's a screen:
Images lost
I didn't include credits because it's very easy. Use /snow ingame to toggle it on or off. That's all. There are two edittable defines, but it is as good enough atm.
Features
* /snow command to toggle it on and off
* Commands for RCON admins: /allsnowon and /allsnowoff
* Random rX & rY positions so it will look more realistic (you mostly won't see the lines in a several look-at positions if you get what I mean)
* The snow will be from 0 to 20 from the player pos (X and Y) so that now all the snow will be exact on one location: PosX + random(20) and PosY + random(2)
* The Z position of the snow at player object is -5 so it won't stop above the ground

On the screen, you can see everything is covered in snow. You can download this mod here:
* Custom.img only (gta3.img changes for multiplayer only): Link down - Site shut down
* Full mod (including changed handling (less easier-more realistic), all cars white (nice effect) and the gta3.img). This one does change your singleplayer. custom.img won't (as most people might know already): Link down - Site shut down [202 MB]

NOTE: Some people have complained about lagg: DECRASE MAX_SNOW_OBJECTS!
WARNING: Do not use more then 30 snow objects per player: This will occur FPS laggs (atleast for me) and it could even crash the player (I tested it with 50 and the client immediate crashed)

It has been placed back already I guess: I am using the fakesnow object (18864).

Well this "idea" has been made a several times before. But some of them aren't working (Michael_Belgium said to me) so I decided to make this one.
