Hello. Not sure if this is the right place to post but here it is anyway.

I have setted up my very own server using Ravens Roleplay Gamemode. It all works well - for me at least.
I had a friend tried to connect to it and it just sticks on the screen saying. "Retriving IP Address." We got Hamachi to work for EM4 somehow but he did it and he's away right now. It works all for me and we both have got the same updated server/client. I have no idea what to do. I looked at the common_problems.wiki and I think I may found a soulotion to the problem but I am not so sure about it. I have disabled my Private/Home firewall and Sooner or later I will tell him to try it now. But it is very odd this happened.

Can anyone share some Advice?. Please.

Well hamachi is a program that connects computers in a lan network so.. Did u change the line "lanmode" in the server.cfg file to "lanmode 1"? Also did he connect to ur ip or the hamachi network ip? He shud connect to the hamachi ip

Hello. No I did not change the Lanmode to 1 it is currently set to 0. I am so stupid for not seeing something so simple. He also tried to connect to my Hamachi IP. I will set Lanmode to 1 right now, should I also keep my Firewall for Private/Home set to off?.

EDIT: New problem. I can no longer connect to it as it is now saying to me. "Retriving IP Address."

bind the hamachi IP

add this to server.cfg

bind {hamachi ip}, You should have posted on Server Support

ok then bind the hamachi ip by adding "bind yourhamachiiphere" in ur .cfg file. if u aren't connecting to ur hamachi network ip connect to it it shud be in format "iport(7777 by default" if u r connecting to ur hamachi but it still doesnt work, connect to "localhostort(7777 by default)"

How do I know if I am connecting to my Hamachi Network IP? and how do I view the connections?. I have binded the Hamachi IP but now when I start up the SAMP Server.exe it says "Unable to start server on "My Hamachi IP:7777" Port in use?" But it isn't in use. I might restart my laptop and see if that fixes anything.

EDIT: No need. I am now connected. lol. For some reason when I started the later 1.5 version of Hamachi it worked fully. I think my other hamachi is messed up. Lanmode is on and everything seems to be working.

Sorry to double post. But I am very curious. If my friend tries to join in my Server again will it still say the same thing or will it come up with the server details?.

Sigh. This is probably the 100th time I tell this: lanmode is NOT required AT ALL if you're setting up any kind of server. Enabling lanmode just makes the server use more resources for smoother gameplay.

well if i understood ur question, it will still show the server data, only the ip will be different.
