Problem Installing! - Printable Version

For some reason I cannot seem to install it!

I just cannot click the install button!

Is there meant to be somewhere to install the file or just my laptops broken? Any ideas?

Is there a certain location I am meant to save it? Its default is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\

PLEASE HELP!

Usually it is showing this location

but it is wrong, you should locate your GTA San Andreas folder by pressing "Browse" button and then you can install it.

one reason can be that it dont find the gta san andreas location....find the san andreas location and then it will be ok !

The default location is correct for 64-bit systems, if it is a 32-bit system, it is
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\

If you have installed it somewhere else you need to specify that location. Search for gta_sa.exe and find out where it is.

I have no gta_sa.exe :S Is it because I only have GTA on steam? I am a real newbie aha

Yes, the steam games are working with different files.

Try browsing in your Program Files.You'll find a Steam folder,go into it and find GTA San Andreas folder.
I recommend you to move the file to elsewhere or Desktop for easy of use before continuing on the installation.

You just need to locate the GTA San Andreas folder which is located

For 64 Bit OS

If you have a 64 bit OS, make sure it didn't install in

Which this has happened to me.

EDIT: Nevermind this, although this will be helpful for some players, I didn't read the posts where you stated you had GTA SA on steam. My bad :P

The location of the gta folder is: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\
