I wanna host servers in at my house with a hosting device, i don't know what it's called, a VPS or something?
Anyways, is their a possibility i can buy a hosting device and use it to host SA-MP servers at my home?

You just can home host your servers on your computer
vps or dedicated is hosted servers on hosting companys.
If you don't know how to host one server on vps or dedicated, you should buy a host with control panel

Well its actually very possible without spending a dime except on internet and the electric bill. First of all you need to know a few things about a VPS. VPS stands for Virtual Private Server. Most companies use and rent out a bunch of VPS's on a dedicated server. You can download VPS software for free and put any operating system you like on it. I do suggest that you use a server to host the VPS on or use a spare computer with a decent amount of ram. With the VPS you can connect to it and add FTP and MySQL for the servers. I am willing to help you at any time if you have an Instant Messenger, Email, and Teamviewer. Teamviewer is free and I can tell you where it is just leave me a PM on the forums. You can get the software for a VPS here https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads Don't hesitate to ask me questions. I am also to able to help you with your business free of charge. Please PM me if you want more information and help.

Are you getting paid to host people's servers?

Nope, i just wanna test things out. I might ask money later.

If you just want to have some servers, I recommend renting a dedicated server online.
But if it really needs to be at your home, you should have a fast and direct internet connection, 100mbit at least, else buying a server machine would be quite pointless, unless you got an unused computer that you could just use for free for it.
