how can i run a free server - diego_p11 - 14.10.2011
i want to have a server. i already have the gamemodes but i cant conect it because i needa host or something like that, i have ben cheking that to have a host we have to pay but i dont have money
.What can i do?

Why do it the hard way?
You can make one yourself.
Just port forward your router (On a main pc (not a laptop))
Host a server.
Do it with hamachi -> Make your own network -> name,password -> let your friends download hamachi and let them join your network.
If you want other people to joun your server just post server ip on a forum/website with the port which the server runs on. like 127.0.0.1.7777
But if you dont know the password of you router then you will need to press the reset button on your router for 8 seconds to reset it and most likely the name and password will be admin,admin.

If you decide you want to pay money for a larger server, Volt Host will offer free web-hosting for that server. It should be sufficient for your needs.
