Do you remember my "Clean Script" release? -
Scenario - 06.10.2011
Hello forum users.
I am thinking about beginning work on a newer, more efficient and more advanced version of my old "Clean Script" which I released mid last year. However, I don't want to work on something for a month or two if nobody is going to use it. So, the big question is; Should I begin a new one, or not?
Features:
- MySQL accounting system
- possible housing/vehicle system
- Whirlpool password hashing
- threaded SQL queries
- Semi-advanced admin system
- Dialog interfaces
- Some TD's where necessary
- more if requested
Again, the question:
Should I begin a new one, or not?
---
Just a slight update here folks! I'll be including the following features in
version 1a (which is not going to be the base for an RP server).
- MySQL accounting system
- Basic administration commands
- Server console via dialogs
- Automatic map changes with script-changable spawn points
Okay, now the following features will be included in
version 1b (which will be the base for an RP server).
- MySQL accounting system
- Advanced administration commands
- Server console and player control via dialogs
- Standard role play commands and semi-advanced functions
- dynamic spawn points (up to 5 different locations)
If you have any further ideas, please post them below. I'll keep updating this thread down the road!

I think half of the features are easy to do but the rest can work as a base for some players so I say, why not?h

I am not a real police officer, it's just a username. I am studying criminal justice and stuff to be a police officer though!

Well that's good because the whole point of the script is for people to use it and learn by doing so.

Definitely, the more good examples people have to learn off, the better.

If you decide to make one, you should totally add a faction system
since no one else does in mysql.

Not a bad idea actually, we'll see though because that would be a little hefty to add. Plus, there would need to be "faction types" if they are going to be dynamic. That way, it would be much easier to make commands for certain faction types instead of faction ID's if that makes sense...
