Help with camcoder! - Markx - 27.09.2011

Hello i have a Sony DCRA-C151...

I have an USB cable for it but when i plug it in, a message appears that a new device has been detected but it wont open it and when i go to search more devices, it doesnt find everything... Guys please help, there is some very important footage!

Go in "My computer". Do you see any new partitions in there while your camera is plugged in?

If no, then either try a different USB cable or buy a memory card reader - they're like $10.

Haha, Does it make a *Ding* sound when you plug it in O_O?

Noobie ass suggestion but,

Make sure your computer's Specs are fully up to date and compatible with what it requires.

Attempt to change the USB ports to see if it is just that one USB port is the problem.

Make sure you have every driver for your computer so nothing of the drivers is the problem.

Mostly probably Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
