Lil question:
Is it possible to download from an FTP server (in a browser) without having to login?
So, when you for example typ in your browser bar: "ftp://blahblah.com/filename.rar"

No, you always need to login. There is the anonymous user but it has no permissions to download/delete/upload/create just view.

Yes there is, but you still have to put it like this
ftp://user@hostort

If your using both a account username and a password
ftp://userassword@hostort

So, when I want to download a file, i can just type like this:

'ftp://user@hostort/filename.extension' ??
