Restarting a SA:MP community - RevenNL - 24.09.2011
Hello everyone,
I'm writing this post because I wish to put a current project of mine into discussion. Right now I'm setting up a former SA:MP gamemode. This is a gamemode that used to be online for a long time, however the owner closed it serveral months ago and released the script. Telling everyone to do with it whatever they like.
When I read that and noticed that the former domain was released, I became really eager to turn the script back online and re-create the old community and that's what I'm doing right now. (On the same domain etc.)
Since the owner released everything, I don't see any problem with it. However I'd really appreciate it if I could hear the opinion of the SA:MP community before officially re-opening the server for public.

Can you tell us what community/domain/GM you mean? It's a little vague now.

I didn't wanted to make it look like I'm advertising, but since everyone's asking anyway. I'm talking about sumoFFS.

Yea but why should i play on your server if i can download the script and make my own?

This is like attempting to remake the gf community...
On a side note, sumoFFS was based on the original Sumo server, which is still in existence.
The only ones that played on sumoFFS were the people closely involved with serverFFS.
