Do NOT use ColorHost - Kyle_Olsen - 21.09.2011

This is a warning against using colorhost.

I have experienced nothing but trouble, downtime, DDoS attacks, unstability, etc with this host, and I've changed my host as well.

Please do not use ColorHost for hosting of your SA-MP server.


This topic does not count for any other services, as I am pleased with their website hosting

We do admit, we were facing DDOS attacks and we greatly apologize.

We have stopped the attack and all server are now normal, and moved to our new node.

We also applied credit back due to this downtime.

I don't see why people use unknown hosts, and then complain about it..

use Volt-Host

We have been in Buissness since 2009, i assure you that were not going anywhere anytime soon! and were sure not "unknown"!

That's not what I mean, what I meant is using common hosts that SA-MP users use, is much better, and will prevent complains.

I see, I assure you that we usually never face DDOS attacks, and we usually can combat them really well, but this attack was very large and we could not restore it quickly enough.

Hopefully i have resolved the OPs problems.

Well about the DDOS attacks, its not just you guys, Volt-Host got their lion server ddos'ed too, but I hope you knew what I meant before ^^.
