Using xbox 360 controller with xpadder - agnew07 - 21.09.2011

Does anyone else use there xbox 360 controller or any other controller with xpadder or a different app because the default controls are horrible and with xpadder they are not much better, I have searched on ****** about it and alot of people have the same problem with no fix?

Use San Andreas Advanced Control.

I did but it wouldn't open but it showed up in the process tab and took up over 80% cpu usage on vista.

I use MotionJoy for my PS3 controller, BUT it does support the Xbox 360 controller too!

Edit: Just double checked, not sure if it does support but there is an option for a 360 device. Not tried it though.

Do you have to configure it like xpadder or does it configure itself because there is no way to configure xpadder to work as if you were playing on an xbox.

MotionJoy doesn't need much configuration;

1. Install the software & drivers
2. Select the Xbox 360 Emu option, then click options (Make sure you click the Enable button!)
3. Select the drop down menu, and choose the Xbox 360 Controller as the input (Again, click Enable)

Note: You will need to configure the Joypad settings in-game for the controller, as they will be messed up.
Since I use the PS3 controller, I configured the buttons to how they worked on the PlayStation (X = sprint, Square = Jump etc). In-game when configuring, it will appear as "Joy 2, Joy 3" etc.

You won't have to go through this all the time, it's just the initial setup that might take a bit of configuration. Just remember to load MotionJoy up if you want to use your controller

Try to use PPJoy (a virtual gamepad driver) and with GlovePIE you can advanced emulate keys of bunch of gamepads, keyboards, mice, other misc stuff etc.
I use to play some games with selfmade Wiimote (Wii Gamepad) scripts.
