I REALLY wanna play sa-mp. I have the latest version downloaded from the samp website. I have re-installed samp AND GTA twice. Yet when i join a server i get, "Server did not respond retrying" and then it repeats. I have allowed both Samp and GTA on my McAfee firewall and im really fed up. My friend from Ireland can play it no problem and we set everything up together the same. Can any one help?

Maybe you have 0.3d installed and the server is 0.3c

0.3d client can't run 0.3c servers, you say??
