I have a friend who is trying to create an account but every time he tries he says he gets a message about the IP being blacklisted. however our super smart ISP has all the customers on one ip and my account works just fine. Any way for him to get his account?

Try from a device with a different IP or force new IP on your network
if it is not Static.

I had this problem with my iPhones 3G assigned IP but all good
on my PC and the problem is only upon sign up, that IP will be fine
to sign in.

It may be a short sited attempt at preventing multiple accounts.
