Why is it compiling to VIRTUA~1.amx? And not VirtualPilots.amx?

Because the name of the script is too long. If you name it, for example, vp.pwn it will compile to vp.amx just fine. The limit before it gets cut of is 16 characters, I think. Including extension.

I just tried with the same name and worked. I really have no idea where does this come from...

I tried the vp.pwn, its compiled fine and there wasn't that funny stuff. But, as I compiled it the second time it went all funny again?

when u get warnings / errors and a long name it does this it doesn't reconise it anymore and shortens the AMX as it makes the AMX all u need to do is rename it and ur fine or fix the warning / error

Where is the compile directorry set to (in Pawno there is a drop down menu containing 'Compiler Options' (the compile tab? Can't remember what it's called aha))
