It's okay, tweak the emboss have a gradient. (ORANGE - DARK ORANGE)

Things I don't like:
- The text is very sharp. You should select soft text.
- The resolution doesn't fit any screen, next time make them at least 1024x765 or 1600x1200.
- The cookies are stretched, stretched from hell and back.
- Why did you make holes into the 'es' ?
- The selected background doesn't fit the theme you want at all, cookies with shattered glass?Sounds like Happy Tree Friends

It's a cool background, but it doesn't really flow with the text color. If you are writing cookies, then you may want a cookie closeup, or any stockphoto of baking.
Make things relate, and flow.

If its your '1st' venture into photoshop then its ok. But you should follow Hal and Zh3r0's advice.
