It's okay, tweak the emboss have a gradient. (ORANGE - DARK ORANGE)

It'd look cool

Things I don't like:

1. The text is very sharp. You should select soft text.
2. The resolution doesn't fit any screen, next time make them at least 1024x765 or 1600x1200.
3. The cookies are stretched, stretched from hell and back.
4. Why did you make holes into the 'es' ?
5. The selected background doesn't fit the theme you want at all, cookies with shattered glass?Sounds like Happy Tree Friends

It's a cool background, but it doesn't really flow with the text color. If you are writing cookies, then you may want a cookie closeup, or any stockphoto of baking.

Make things relate, and flow.

If its your '1st' venture into photoshop then its ok. But you should follow Hal and Zh3r0's advice.
