Left shift -

so on my new laptop, there is a shift button in the right, under the enter button, and has a pointing up arrow, same goes for the left shift, it has a point up arrow on it but doesn't work, has absolutely no effect when I press it.
Any ideas?
I really need a left shift because sometimes it's hard to type functions in pawn.

Could it be a virus?
Try defragging your HDD
Else
Try reinstalling windows (or linux if your using it)
I never had this problem, and never heared of it :/

I recently changed my keyboard's language to English, it was in Italian, but I think that's not the problem ...

Press one of the shift buttons 5 times in a row and a dialog will pop up.
Read what it says there and it may help you xD

I just searched on ****** about Key Mapping, which is to detect special characters and extra buttons on the keyboard, whenever I press the left shift button, nothing appears, but when I try the right shift for example it clearly says the hex value of it and name...
It seems like my left shift is not working at all.
BTW I took it out, now how the hell do I out it back! Laptop buttons are too tiny,.

Never take your keyboard buttons out. It just looks like there's a mistake in your laptop, better send it back to the manufactor

It's probably because of physical factor that's blocking the key from being properly pressed.
Check out your Manufacturer's website and Troubleshoot it. There are videos on ******* too which shows how to remove and key and fix it.
I got mine fixed because of this website once:
http://www.laptopkey.com/
They have video tutorials about it.

Who knew that if you put it back and just press it it will fix by itself xD
Anyway, seems like the key mapper doesn't detect even my alt and right alt.
I'm going to update my drivers.
EDIT It didn't do anything, oh well, I leave it as that.
Anyway, is it normal for my laptop when I touch the metalic parts to electrocute me?

Metallic part where? And no that is not right, that's probably what has shorted out some of your keys lol.
