SAMP Agreement Question -
Supercop - 26.07.2011
Stating the SA-MP Agreement it's illegal to have commerce with SAMP provided services or host a SAMP server with the purpose to gain money with it.
But, is it breaching the rules if you let people donate/pay on your server for certain services and you use that money to pay certain administrators obtaining a certain position?

Almost every server is doing this, so i dont think so.
Otherwise the SA:MP team has to blacklist all servers, lol.

No, pretty much your server is almost like a Non Profit Company that can take donations.

I'm sure that can't be right.
Maybe you should read those agreements again....

A donation and a profit is not the same thing.

I doubt there are many server owners who buy themselves beer for the money they receive from donators. Anyone familiar with running a bigger server can expand on how much proper hosting costs a month and it would be weird to think that we actually profited off it.
