How do I stabilize my ping? (connected wirelessly) -
dstryr - 23.07.2011
I am using Windows 7 and connected to the internet wirelessly. My signal is perfect and @ 54 Mbps. No one else is uploading/downloading and I'm the only one using the internet. SA-MP is the only thing running and yet I still get this big rises in my ping:
This doesn't just happen on one server, it happens on every server. Anyone know what's causing it or how to fix it?

That's just the way SA-MP works, my ping is also like that..

Are you sure? Because when I hit tab in-game and look at everyone's ping they usually only go up/down by 2 or 3, not 20-30 like mine.

The ping in-game dose not refresh as fast as the ping in the SA-MP client. Try pinging the server's IP in command prompt.

You should only worry about what ping you have, Their ping is an average, It's not exactly what their ping is.
as for improving "ping" on wireless... Simply... Get a cable.
It's the best way to fix it.
wireless sucks.
