SA-MP: own server only runs in old version - samtey - 19.07.2011

Hi!

Some times ago, I tried to run my own server (localhost) with the latest version SAMP 0.3c!
But when I wanted to connect to my server, it said:

The server didn't respond!

So I tried it with SAMP 0.3a, and it worked!!

My question now is:

When I only can run my own server with 0.3a, how can other people in future join my server? They all have got SAMP 0.3c!

They will need to install 3a aswell.
As far as I know there is no other way unless you tried 3c again but if not the answer is still above.

Do you for example run ur server with 0.3a?

But this is a damn problem, there has to be a solution for it!

As I said above that is the answer , it's not really a problem nor a bug.
And again you are asking in the wrong section.


Also when you used a 3c server did you have 3c installed, or 3a?
If 3a, it wont of worked and that was your problem.
