Hello everyone.
I am very interested in starting a SA-MP roleplay server.
I'm not sure I have what it takes to do it however.
I am 16 years old and I really can't pay anyone due to the fact that I don't have a credit card at the moment.
And, don't ask how I pay my hosting company, long story.
I have the hosting finished, I can host it 24/7 with no problems.
Paid host that is.
I know how to RP and I've been playing SA-MP for like 2 years or so.
I know how to control and administrate a server.
I know how to behave infront of the public.
I know that I need to set rules for the server and use perm-templates that I follow.
I know that I can be active.
I know... You get the point....
The main reason I think I can't do it is because I can't script, at all.
I don't think players will stay on my server if I am using an edited or downloaded script. - Correct?
I don't think players want to stay on my server if I can't script. - Correct?
Players want to see new things and want the server to be updated regularly. - Correct?
It's late and I probably should wait until tommorow before I post this thread...
Due to my spelling and grammar failings at this time etc
Anyway, please add any information you want or tell me what I should know and what I should do.

You are correct, but also players do not want to stay on servers if they are not getting things handed to them. They want free this and that. This is easy for them to find, because of the abundance of servers out there. I would reccomend you finding a small server, and work to helping to make it better. But keep your standards high when looking.

why dont you get a free server ( www.samp4free.com ) and find some RP game modes in game modes thread?

Heres a tip.
-Start of learning PAWN Language
-Get a job (once your around 17?)
-Buy a server
Never do this.
-Do not edit any script and add it for your server
-Don't Copy 'n' and paste

Your story is matching with mine story same problem thats why i am learning scripting with the help of self study i wish i will have my rp server, one thing more i have nice ideas and observed how to impress users and get rush in server.
