[CH]KiLLeR - 12.07.2011
Well, hello SAMP community.I'll have a question to you, I hope this is the best place I can post it. I'm going to buy a PC, for running games like GTA SA on max, also some old games for nostalgy, I have a console for future games so.Today I went to my local store and noted down the specs I found. They are not many, I just want a PC that will let me play with highest settings without enb and also be able to record without lag.
Here they are, please suggest me which one to take:
#1:
Amd Athlon II x3 440 (Triple Core)
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD5450 1GB
Windows 7 64bit
#2:
AMD Athlon II x4 640 (Quad Core)
4GB RAM
GeForce 6150SE 512MB
Windows 7 64bit

As far as I know you won't even be able to play GTA SA on 90 FPS with a NASA computer, because the engine is old.

Why do you want 90FPS exactly?
Playing at 40-60 is perfectly fine. With my current 6core, I can easily get 120FPS in places, but you really don't notice a difference.

what the f are you talking about?
I get near to 400+FPS on LOWEST settings
on highest mostly 100+ FPS
Highest

size reduced to thumbnail. click on it for full size.
Lowest
And no I don't have a NASA PC XD

the second yea.
As I mentioned it's lowest settings I can do :P
Although some vehicle's get hard to control then because they start shaking hard and stuff like the doors open and close each corner^^
First picture is highest resolution and depth I can do with the screen I got at the moment
Edit:
To get ontopic again.
Yes those look good for playing SA
It will run VERY smooth on it.^^

Well it's a pretty small resolution to be fair, If i run it at that (Don't think I can because it's not widescreen and my GFX card pukes up everywhere when I try and run it in non widescreen), I think I would get much higher FPS.

Both of those graphics cards are abysmal - don't be fooled by high amounts of VRAM. A gigabyte of VRAM does not equal a good card.
I looked at a few benchmarks for them and they were at the bottom of the table for 2006, let alone today.
The rest of the PC would be fine, but you would most likely need a better graphics card (depending on resolution, I suppose)

You should note that Fraps only displays which FPS it can record at, not what FPS your game is actually running at.

You're wrong. It shows the actual FPS. It got my source for this fact (fraps.com) and please provide me a reliable source that says otherwise if you're not convinced.
